I met Dr. Dahlia Wasfi at Camp Democracy this summer. As a medical doctor of Jewish and Iraqi heritage, she has a unique perspective on the Iraq war.
She has visited her father’s family in Iraq several times. Dr. Wasfi left a promising medical career to devote her life to ending the US war against the Iraqi people.

I’m interested in her “Iraqi and jewish heritage”.
Is her jewish heritage European or Arab? Of course the original Jews, Christians, and Muslims were all approximately the same people (Abraham was an Iraqi Arab), and thus as long as Judiasm has existed, Iraq has contained some Jews.
Is her Iraqi heritage muslim?
Thanks for the comments, Paul.
According to her website her mother’s family fled Austria to avoid the holocaust. I think her Iraqi family is Muslim, but am not sure.
Where do you get the information that says Abraham was an Iraqi Arab?
My understanding is that Abraham’s grandson Jacob is the Israel for which the twelve tribes are named. It is also my understanding that Abraham’s son Ishmael (by Sarah’s handmaiden Hagar) is the father of Arab Muslims.
Abraham is therefore the father of both races, and cannot be claimed as one or the other.
