The universe is a magical place. Yesterday I was in my element, working in the legendary Pearl Sound Studios with super producer/engineer @chuckalkazian on an amazing record by @thegasolinegypsies , a wonderful band of beautiful human beings. Today, I am sucking yesterday’s monsoon out my flooded basement with a wet vac, marching up the stairs, a one man bucket brigade, dumping water outside as the snow flurries laugh at man’s stubborn arrogance.Nothing catastrophic is lost aside from the ego that believed it could predict exactly how this weekend would end. Life is funny. Some would say cruel. But in this I learn again, lean not on an attachment to the trivialities of this world.
